Surface® Combustion has a long history with continuous annealing lines and a sizeable installed base of minispangle systems worldwide. Our process knowledge and engineering expertise allow us to work with you to determine the best solution possible for your product, process, and space.
The minispangle is a companion system to continuous galvanizing strip lines. This system is located downstream of the zinc pot and applies zinc powder to the strip which minimizes the galvanized “spangles” allowing for improved downstream coating processes including painting. Minispangle systems can be integrated into both horizontal and vertical annealing lines and are crane mounted directly above the zinc pot area of the galvanizing line.
