Flame Metals Processing Corporation orders Super Allcase Batch Integral Quench furnace line

Maumee, Ohio…Surface Combustion, Inc. has received an order for a Super Allcase® Batch Integral Quench furnace line from Flame Metals Processing Corporation. Flame Metals is a leading commercial heat treater with two (2) locations in the Minneapolis, Minnesota region. This line will be installed at their Rogers, MN plant and is expected to be in operation by July, 2002.

This furnace line will consist of two (2) Allcase furnaces with an effective work zone size of 36″ wide by 48″ long by 36″ high, two (2) Uni-DRAW® furnaces and various companion equipment. This equipment will allow for numerous heat treat processes such as hardening, annealing, carbon restoration, carburizing and many others to be performed.

Additional standard features of the Allcase® furnace include:

  • Surface rear mounted System #1TM automatic internal handling with push/push feature for reduced time from furnace heating chamber to oil quench tank.
  • Top cool chamber for atmosphere cooling workloads that do not require oil quenching.
  • Hot oil quenching capability from 160°F to 350°F for a wide range of materials and heat treat processes.
